Grown around the stone

Everywhere else, the stone is cut to fit the design. Here the crystal arrives raw, and a round clay sprout with a sleepy smile is made around it — model-maker's foliage at the crown, so the stone looks as if it grew there. Built around one stone, each sprout is the only one. The sprout in the photograph is the sprout you get.
