Coral Red
Coral Jade Moon
Hand-carved crescents of fossilised coral — the tiny flower-like cells in each bead are agatised coral polyps from an ancient sea. A grounded, life-affirming stone.
Coral Jade Moon is a biogenic mineral, Mohs hardness 4.
Where it’s found: Fossil coral, sometimes called agatised coral, is found mainly in Indonesia and in Florida in the United States.
Why the colour: Over millions of years, ancient coral was slowly replaced by quartz, which kept the tiny flower-like patterns of the coral polyps.
Across traditions, coral jade moon is worn as a reminder of courage, energy, renewal and balance. We share these correspondences as cultural tradition, not medical claim.
Often gifted to those born under cancer and pisces and scorpio.
Designs are handmade in Britain after ordering, usually crafted in our Oxfordshire studio within 2-3 days.
