Coral Jade Heart is a biogenic mineral, Mohs hardness 4.
Where it’s found: Fossil coral, sometimes called agatised coral, is found mainly in Indonesia and in Florida in the United States.
Why the colour: Over millions of years, ancient coral was slowly replaced by quartz, which kept the tiny flower-like patterns of the coral polyps.
Across traditions, coral jade heart is worn as a reminder of love, renewal, courage and balance. We share these correspondences as cultural tradition, not medical claim.
