Where it’s found: Blue tiger's eye, also called hawk's eye, comes mainly from South Africa and Namibia.
Why the colour: It is tiger's eye whose fibres kept their original blue-grey colour instead of turning golden brown, and the fibres give it a silky shimmer.
Good to know: Some blue tiger's eye on the market is dyed.
